In early 2008, Darryl Briggs founded The Glamour Photography Club of Texas beginning with the DFW Chapter. In March 2010, the Glamour Photography Club of Oklahoma was launched. While the Glamour Photography Club of Oklahoma is focused primarily on glamour photography, we are also working to provide classes in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom as well as basic camera operations and Strobism to name a few. We hold club shoots in studio and on location allowing everyone the opportunity to learn and set up different lighting as well as photograph amazingly beautiful models.
The club welcomes photographers of all skill levels and interests to join our family. We strive to learn from each other and to enjoy a community of like minded photographers.
Models and make-up artists are welcome and encouraged to join, whether you are established or just starting out, there is something for everyone.
About the Organizers
In 1997 Darryl Briggs rekindled his love of photography after being away from it for several years. As an avid motorcycle rider and photographer the natural progression was to combine the two. It was not long before Darryl and his fellow bikers started to put the most gorgeous women around on their bikes to photograph. Over the years this has led to his being published in magazines such as Easyriders, Street Chopper, Street Customs, Hot Bike, The Horse and American Choppers to name a few. Darryl is also a regular contributor to Blitz Weekly; photographing models, sports and advertising campaigns.
